Mohs medium Tabernacle by Studio Intervallo Dimensions: W 30 x D 53 x H 115 cm Materials: Wooden structure, covered with marbled cotton paper. Mohs is a special element, which arises from the combination of references with a deep meaning: tabernacles and precious stones. Realized in wood, it is a piece of furniture that wants to become the keeper of small domestic joys and daily rituals. The exterior is covered with marbled cotton paper, handmade by expert Umbrian artisans, while the interior is covered with shiny brass, mirrors and surfaces capable of enhancing and amplifying its content. A small coffer that can be declined into a domestic altar, exhibitor, reliquary or container of precious objects, but also into a bar cabinet. studiointervallo creates furniture and interior design. All its creations are painstakingly researched with a thorough use of full and empty spaces. For this reason, it could only exist between the fullness of the city of Milan and the emptiness of the countryside around it, in a place which is also ideal for meditating, as well as a stimulating anteroom to creative thinking. This unusual location’s aura successfully blends with the projects of studiointervallo, thus enriching them with nature in a final true epiphany which is the very soul of each single creation.
