Side table 741 designed by the Swedish architect Axel Larsson for the manufacturer Svenska Möbelfabrikerna in Bodafors. Features elm veneer with bentwood legs in birch. Produced in the 1940’s. Swedish designer Axel Larsson joined Svenska Möbelfabrikerna in the mid-1920s and achieved significant recognition as a furniture designer during the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930. Throughout his extensive tenure as the company’s artistic director, Larsson created a wide array of iconic pieces known for their unwavering commitment to functionalism and a minimalist aesthetic.
