A set of six floral repousse patterned salad or dessert forks, retailed by Hennegan, Bates & Co. Sterling, Baltimore Maryland, circa 1890.
The pattern is hand chased rose, made by Klank Silversmiths, later Schofield Silversmiths in Baltimore, Maryland. The tined forks terminate in ornate handles and are bowled to handle ice cream or sherbets as well. Marked Sterling. Versos are engraved with the initials, HR.
The six pieces weigh five ounces total or 4.55729 Troy Ounces.
Excellent, lightly polished leaving some patina.
