Vintage Design
The chest is fairly large, solid and heavy and will provide a good amount of storage in any home.
Made from solid mahogany and oak the chest is fitted with four spacious drawers which are finished with brass drop handles, the drawers run well and the interiors are in clean condition.
The chest is finished with a galleried top and is set on a deep base plinth
The chest has been handpainted in several contrasting layers of chalk paint, finishing with a cream colour. The paintwork has been lightly distressed and then waxed giving a traditional shabby chic look.
CONDITION
The chest is generally in solid structural condition with minor cosmetic marks of age and use.
