Vintage Design
Beautiful chess table on the top and card games when opened, its half-moon shape made of flamed walnut veneer from around 1940-1950 with legs decorated with bronze ornamentation. A very attractive and well made piece, done in Regency style, however it is late Victorian. It has a small front drawer with a brass handle, the legs are beautifully turned at the top and exquisitely sculpted at the bottom. The table opens to reveal a cloth card playing surface. We have cleaned, waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be some patina due to honest time and genuine use.
