Most often found in the entry ways of French homes or in the cafes and bistros of Paris.
Perfect in a bathroom for hanging robes and towels, or in a farmhouse style kitchen.
This heavy and well made antique French wooden coat rack has three removable, curved iron arms, that fit into an iron holding strap banding the wooden base. Each arm is finished with two wooden pegs for holding a hat and coat, enough spots for six items.
The three separate iron arms have welded tongues that easily slip into their holding places on the shaped iron strap that is held in place by large screws.
The three arms are removable for flat storage or shipping.
An original metal hanging hook is screwed onto the back side of the base.
Lovely time worn patina.
