This elegant Viennese étagère is made of cherry-veneer with ebony feet and cock-bead around the edge of each of the four shelves. The graceful lines of this étagère are similar to a watercolor drawing for an étagère by Josef Danhauser. The graceful flow of the three legs give this table a Classic Greek Psykter Vase Shape. The three legs go down to a tripartite convex base supported by ebony feet. This Vienna Étagère is published in ‘Biedermeir’ by Angus Wilkie on page 95.
