Beautiful, dark Japanese cabinet (tansu) with sliding doors from the Meiji era.
Equipped with two metal handles on the sides to facilitate transportation in earlier times.
The cabinet is divided by shelves, and on the right side, there are two drawers at the bottom.
The drawers are divided into smaller compartments.
The tansu also features a stunning cross-shaped metal lock mechanism that can be secured with a pin (see photos).
A beautiful and unique interior piece with history that brings Japan a little closer!
Dimensions: height 76 cm, width 97 cm, depth 51 cm. In very good condition, with signs of use commensurate with its age.
