made 1846.
Gorgeous Viennese silver pair of candlesticks of finest manufacturing quality as well as of most elegant appearance: These candlesticks were made during famous Viennese High Biedermeier Period.
Each of them is based on round foot with scalloped edge (the base is hollow at reverse side, not filled!). Main parts of candlesticks’ surface have smooth appearance whereas edged area of foot/base is stunningly decorated
with garland consisting of scrolls, flower’s blossoms, pomegranates and leaves (chasing work). Finally, the stalk having two areas bulging out is topped by most elegant grommet.
