Vintage Design
We have been advised that this table is a stylish example and typical of the sort of fixtures, fittings and furnishing on oceanlixury liners, between 1930’s & 1960’s.
This correlated with the information received that it is from the ‘Saga Rose’ cruise liner, built in 1963-5.
The company that built it also produced tanks WWII, most notable FCM2C, FCM3C- Sagaford
This unique and completely rare and exclusive table made of forged steel, would have taken pride of place upon the entrance of the dining hall. Beautiful detailing associated with the sea.
