This secretary in solid cherry trees, topped with a carrare marble, opens on a belt by a drawer embellished with ebony fillets and provided with two bronze -bronze muffle rings, accompanied by a functional original lock with Entrance and key.
Below, the slaughter has a dark tab cutting frame of a panel also highlighted with ebony nets.
This flap, which locks using an authentic three -point lock with clover key, is mounted on brass compass and lets discover a writing space dressed in original green leather with golden vignettes.
The interior part, called tabernacle, summoned with a upper drawer, is embellished with eight small drawers, including a compartmentalized and a larger central.
The latter is similarly equipped with a lock in working order.
The lower part of this piece of furniture has a double and low lock door, supplied with its clover key, closing by a so -called nut system.
The pilasters protruding, in the bottom, are embellished with cariatide busts and elements in gilded bronze.
These pilasters end, at the front, with blackened wooden lion legs and, at the back, turned feet.
The sides are each composed of two panels with central crosspiece.
The rear as well as the drawers’ bottoms are oak.
We will remember this secretary to, in particular, its dimensional and the warm tone of his cherry tree. Often proposed in mahogany, we note the scarcity of this fruit model.
