Les chemins de fer du Sud was a French railway company which operated in southern France from the 19th century until the nationalization of the railways in 1938.
The railway line linking Meyrargues to Grasse was inaugurated on April 10, 1892. It was part of the southern railway network and connected the two towns located in the Alpes-Maritimes department, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte region. of Azure. This line facilitated the movement of travelers and the transport of goods between the two localities.
The main railway line serving Grasse was the Nice-Grasse line, which linked Nice to Grasse. It was inaugurated in 1864 and made it possible to connect the city of Grasse to the French rail network.
The railway line linking Hyères to St-Raphaël was inaugurated in 1864. It connected the towns of Hyères, located in the Var department, and St-Raphaël, also located in the Var department.
