This table is made of birch wood. The table top is made of Karelian birch veneer (also called Curly Birch).
This variety of the common Birch has a genetic defect that causes the tree to have curled trunk and branch growth. This gives a special decorative effect, making the wood from this tree desirable and quite expensive.

The table can be extended to 236 cm
