Stunning Moroccan tray table with engraved brass tray top and folding carved and turned wood base. The intricate engraving on the tray includes a various motifs in the graduated circles. The outer ring features stylized Egyptian figures, followed going inward to the center by rings of decorative scrolls and lettering, animals (e.g., elephants, cows), heart shapes and a 6-pointed star at the center. The folding wooden base has 6 legs on 3 crossing support spindles with a total of 6 decorative turned spindle squares. This lovely piece would fit many decor styles and could serve multiple purposes, including side table, end table, coffee table or night stand. Easily moved.
