A refined French lidded box, embelished all around with floral motifs in Black Forest style. Made of casted bronze with the original brown patina finish. The box is marked, L. Oudry & Cie. With key, lock is not working.
Léopold Oudry & Cie was high end craftsman and bronze caster, during the second French Empire. He was a part of Paris Exposition Universelle and won a medal in 1855.
