Hand painted with a mythological scene including a spinner or weaver, a man with a bear skin cloak, and Cupid. We’re not sure of the allegory (but clearly this relates to ancient mythology).
Richly decorated with gilding and raised gold throughout, a burgundy ground, and a lime green border.

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. There is noticeable wear to the gold throughout (in particular to the high points), some scratches and wear to the hand painted decoration, one small ding or imperfection below Cupid’s bow, remnants of old tape to the reverse, some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age
