A stunning early 19th century cherry and ebony Biedermeier vitrine, circa 1850. The vitrine is raised on square ebonized feet below a faux drawer with ebony trim. Above is a pair of hand blown glass doors open to four glass shelves. The doors, with original locks, are accented at the top by square ebony designs, fitted with cherry borders and black triangular elements at each corner. At the top is the impressive very architectural style pediment. The vitrine was later electrified. All original glass doors and rich patina throughout.
