Vintage Design
Gispen storage cabinet 5600 with built-in desk designed by Andre Cordemeyer for Gispen in 1959. The desk even has an original built-in lamp. A very modern and industrial piece of furniture for its time that can be used as storage furniture, bookcase, desk and/or display furniture. The first version was called model 663 and was designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954. Andre Cordemeyer improved the 663 to the 5600 system in 1959. The condition of this cabinet is still good with normal signs of use and wear. It has been completely checked and cleaned. This cabinet has a folding desk with original built-in lamp and drawer, a display cabinet with glass shelf, a storage cabinet with two sliding doors, a storage cabinet with flap, two large drawers, two small drawers, various (book) shelves. The cabinet is demountable and if desired easily rearranged according to your own choice. Colors: white, blue red, black and anthracite gray and light gray. Dimensions: h x w x d = 137 x 220 x 36 cm.
