Danish coffee table (or desk) in light walnut; the top, well proportioned and made more harmonious by rounded corners, is supported by two elegant and solid supports in the shape of a stylized lyre, separated from each other by a refined footrest skillfully turned. In this table, sober and harmonious is maximized the taste of curved lines, typical of the Biedermeier style, giving the object a timeless elegance. It was made in Denmark between 1850 and 1854 during the reign of Frederick VII (the last king of Denmark to rule as absolute sovereign). We found it and immediately bought it in Copenhagen/Kobenhavn in the Ostrerbro Market near the Rosenborg Castle. Measures: width 97cm, depth 46cm, height 74cm.For all our shipments we use special packaging materials (wooden crates, styrofoam, etc.) for maximum protection and safety of the objects.
