This very fine bookcase is in excellent condition and has great color and style. The book case has four shelves and can work for books or as pictured hear as a display cabinet for objects or collections. The wood on the outside edges is Circassian walnut while the interior veneers are regular walnut book-matching sections creating an overall flaming undulation to the piece. The upper section on the sides and the front are glazed with nicely shaped lyre decorative mullions in natural walnut and ebonizing. The two upper shelves are veneered to match the bookcase as they are seen through the glazed doors.
