Vintage Design
An Arts & Crafts Cotswold School manner walnut and leather lattice strapwork topped stool. Circa 1920. Paper label “Burton”, presumably the maker.
Made in solid figured walnut, with rounded tapering legs joined by stretchers.
There are a couple of hairlines to the legs, but these are not loose and the stool is sturdy. Please refer to the last two photographs. There is no broken leather work, just age related wear. The walnut has been lightly cleaned, this shows some marks with use.
