Vintage Design
Rare lounge chair, model AP-14, designed by Pierre Paulin in 1955 for AP Originals (A. Polak).
Hard to find chair, especially in this original condition.
The chair has a black steel frame and still the original thick brown canvas seating. The frame is mounted with four metal clips.
This design is less known than the popular Butterfly chair for Artifort, but this one is earlier and could possibly be seen as the inspiration for the Butterfly.
Collectible chair.
The chair is in good original condition. The frame has only little wear and the canvas is undamaged and has a fantastic patine.
