We are delighted to offer for sale this Victorian Military Campaign writing slope in the form of a Davenport desk circa 1880 in mahogany with a green leather writing slope A very good looking and decorative piece of furniture, this is the best kind of antique because its useful in a modern day context, it makes a perfect laptop table and even has side slip serving trays (designed for your butler to serve drinks and snacks on) which can be used as a mouse pad Condition wise we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it, it has a genuine period patina which is to say there are some light marks as you would expect based on age and use, campaign furniture was made for the military and was transported all over the world, as such the more patina the better! Dimensions Height:- 84.5cm Width:- 51cm body only 53.5cm with handles Depth:- 35.5cm extending to 65.5cm
