This is an antique early 20th century French Limoges porcelain George Borgfeldt Co. fish platter and plates serving set of thirteen. One large platter and twelve plates in fantastic shades of salmon, yellow, green and gold with 22 karat gold borders with beading and scalloping relief molding. Each is well hand painted with a different fish species swimming in aquatic grasses and plants. All pieces are in excellent antique condition. No chips, crazing or cracks with no loss of it’s finish and hardly a knife mark at all.
Perfect and beautiful for your holiday table scape and family entertaining. The colors of salmon, green, yellow and gold are absolutely mouth watering and so pleasing to look at and admire, truly a work of art.
Measures: The plates, 8.75″ diameter and 1″ high. The large platter, 17″ long, 10.75″ deep and 1.5″ high.
