Born in France around the turn of the late 19th / early 20th century, beautifully hand-crafted in elegantly refined and luxurious Louis XVI taste, having a tall rectangular giltwood frame with ornate sculptural Neoclassical foliate wrapped urn crest, over artist signed (illegible/unknown) oil on board painting depicting serene pastoral landscape, molded frame with floral motif and scroll flourish accents, beaded trim, encasing original flat mirror plate, with sturdy boarded verso.
