This good size and highly practical antique hand mirror can also be used as a wall mirror. The maker of this top quality and all handcrafted antique must have been asked to create a hand mirror in which it is very easy to see ones entire face. We never understood why hand-mirrors were always so small and this longer than normal and oval design is exactly how we would expect all hand-mirrors to look like. Since it is considerably higher than other antique hand mirrors, they must have also decided to make it usable as a wall mirror, hence the original brass bracket on the back. All you need to do is screw a little hook in your wall and you have yourself a hand and wall mirror into one. Apart from a few truly minor imperfections, both the solid nutwood frame and handle and the antique beveled mirror are in excellent condition.
