!9th century French Belle Epoque writing table with gilt ormolu mounts on the feet corners and apron. The top is a single rose and cream-colored marble slab with wonderful veining. The marble top has a gilt bronze band around the entire perimeter of the piece. The apron of the table is decorated with a wide band of ormolu decoration, and there is a center drawer in ormolu decorated with a center urn and neoclassical figures. The legs of the table are graceful and tapering to the feet, which are again decorated with ormolu mounts. A stunning addition to any home used as a barm writing table or center table.
