Gorgeous fully hand carved Black Forest 19th century plant stand / jardiniere in hand carved Fruitwood.
The stand body has outstanding carvings with the center a dimensional carved bouquet of roses/flowers that extends 2” beyond the basket side. This bouquet is surrounded by lush, leaf laden branches, with faux bois carved edging and open carved trim! Note the upper stand is carved on all sides with gorgeous faux bois and twigs, making it perfect to “float” in the center of a room, as there’s no ‘backside’!
Ornate turned and carved baluster with a tripod base, with stability from the three outstretched carved paw feet.

The Jardiniere has had some woodworms at the bottom of the feet in the past. These have been treated.
