Decorate a ranch or hunting lodge with this important antique four-door sideboard. Crafted in France, circa 1870, the highly detailed buffet with curved sides stands on round feet over a wide bottom plinth. The long cabinet features four carved drawers across the front decorated with floral and geometric motifs, and dressed with intricate bronze pulls and branch form handles. The four doors separated with spline columns, are heavily carved in high relief. Both center door panels are decorated with wheat and grape motifs including a farmer hat, a harvesting scythe and a neoclassical urn on the right door. Both curved doors are decorated with fruit and wheat motifs. The inside reveals center shelving for ultimate storage. The large and elegant enfilade is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich oak patinated finish. Place this spectacular Louis XIII buffet in a breakfast or dining room!
