The chess table stands on a central baluster column, which in turn rests on three cantilevers on the floor. The table top with a decorated chessboard is a very beautiful marquetry work. The base also has partial veneer work. The table has been lovingly restored and is in very good condition.
The top can be unscrewed without tools using a wooden thread. There is a small drawer on one side.
