1974 Jazz Age Style Sculptures by Klara Sever for Austin Productions- Set of 2

Set of two large sculptures depicting a standing man and woman dressed in Jazz Age ensemble. The sculptures were designed by Klara Sever (Slovakian, b. 1935) and made by Austin Productions in 1974. The influence of Alberto Giacometti is evident in the elongated bodies and diminished heads. Constructed of durastone ( plaster mixed with polymer). Maker’s marks to both figures. Excellent throughout.
