Fabulous pair of mid century French leather & iron armchairs in the style of Jacques Adnet. Circa 1950’s.

Another pair are available listed separately, also as a set of four.

The chairs have brass ball finials leading to iron sculptural frames, with hair pin legs. They boast the original leather seating, with hand stitched detail to the front.

The seating is very comfortable with well padded seats and backs. The armrests have lost some of the padded feel.

The chairs are good examples, the leather has been cleaned with a natural balsam. Overall the leather is in very good condition for its age, showing characterful wear and markings, but no major damage.

Structurally both chairs are very sound.

The chairs are in good condition with fresh new upholstery and refurbished. The springs are kept original and are in good condition.

Grandessa rocking chair by Lena Larsson for Nesto from the 1960s. In original and good condition. The armchair is made of solid beech wood. A simple, friendly and comfortable form. A classic of Swedish design. The armchair is signed.

Wonderful Vintage Chair Designed by Erling-Torvits for Soro Stolefabrik Denmark. The Frame of the Chair is made of teak. Has some traces of use such some small scratches and stains in the upholstery (see photos). In normal vintage condition. Dimensions L. 59 cm; H. 80 cm; D. 45 cm; Sh. 43 cm. Very comfortable lounge chair designed by Carl Malmsten in the 1940s reupholstered with golden velvet fabric somewhere in the 1960s.
The oak legs are dark stained also in a later period. Assumably on the same moment when the chair has been reupholstered.
Spring and webbings are all in good condition and the chair supports stil very good.
Allover the chair in is good and clean condition.
