Thonet no. 14 children’s chair, in original un-restored condition. Very elegant unique piece! Thonet is a name synonymous with innovative furniture design and craftsmanship. Founded by German-Austrian cabinet maker Michael Thonet in the early 19th century, this iconic brand revolutionized the world of furniture with its bentwood and steam-bending techniques. Thonet’s breakthrough came in the mid-19th century with the creation of the iconic No. 14 chair, also known as the Vienna coffee house chair, which featured a simple, elegant design that could be mass-produced. This pioneering approach to design and production methods paved the way for modern industrial design.

This foldable child seat has a pink cover and black base. It weighs 3 kg.

Dimensions when folded are 74 cm H x 24 cm W x 22 cm D. The seat height is 27 cm in the middle of the cover and 41 cm at the corners.

The seating has been replaced because they are damaged. Treated with wood paint and iron. They can use as support for flowers vases
