1850 Austrian Enamel Coin Purse

For sale is a unique little Biedermeier coin purse. Its case is made of brass covered in royal blue enamel. The lid displays an oval gold colored frame filled with white enamel with a luscious hand-painted flower bouquet in the middle. It is surrounded by botanical silver colored ornament. On the bottom case you find more of the same ornament with an abstracted daisy flower in the middle. The inside of the purse is lined with scarlet red silk. The closing mechanism with little spring button works fine.

The object is in excellent, original condition. No modifications or restorations have been made.
