Cuba mahogany on pinewood. Straight casted two-door body on profile-framed base. Slightly protruding top plate. Recessed, one-Lane grille-glazed top, flanked by adjusted columns with fine ornament-carved base and capitals. Stepped profile gable with cantilevered so-called Schinkeldach. Internal shelving. The corner cabinet is in an unrestored condition with a warm patina grown over decades.

Biedermeier Poplar Briar Wood Austrian Corner Cabinet, 1820

Stupendous warm color and the prestige of the poplar veneer, very valuable because very dotted, for this corner cabinet of first Biedermeier period.

Corner cabinet all veneered in poplar briarwood. The lower part is closed by a door with a little key, and above left exposed by a door with glass and neo – Gothic finishes lacquered in black shellac. The interior is black lacquered. In perfect condition if you think that the piece is from the early 1800s. The corner unit can be divided into two parts, the upper one and the lower one, therefore also easily transportable.

Very important piece carefully restored by our atelier in Rome. This item has no defects, but it may show slight traces of use. For each piece, before the departure, a revision is redone, to make sure it arrives in excellent condition.

A very stylish antique Austrian Biedermeier figured Ash corner cabinet, circa 1830.
The cabinet with an ebonized crown and a glazed door below with arched panels, the door enclosing three shelves and the interior having the original grey paint. To the middle is a second ebonized band of wood and a single paneled door enclosing a single shelf, the cabinet with a corresponding ebonized band to the base and is raised on stile feet.
The cabinet is made from the most striking figured blond ash with highly variegated grain, both doors have inlaid lock escutcheons &3500 keys are present for the locks. Condition is a very good indeed, this very stylish antique Biedermeier corner cabinet is ready to grace your home.
