This vide poche or ashtray in in Glass. It has been done circa 1970, in Murano, Italy. The shape is a Venice Gandola. Transparent yellow and Green Color. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

Large Ceramic Vide Poche on a tripod in Wood sculpted Birds Circa 1960 France This Ceramic base Vide Poche, has a Birds heads sculpted Shape. It has been made in France Circa 1960.

Faceted lucite with embedded, shaved bronze pieces were a hallmark of Herb Ritt’s modernistic designs for Astrolite of California.

The original use of the piece is unknown, most likely a catchall for trinkets, rings, a candle holder as shown, or simply an objet d’art. A faint circular rub around the opening indicates there once was a metal insert as shown in a photo of another piece by same manufacturer. (Not for sale.)

Presenting an antique China export jeweled brass ashtray. The leaves and stems are welded to the four sides, with an inlaid jewel forming the flower bud. Engraved “CHINA” mark on the bottom. Dating back to the 1900s, this ashtray remains in good condition with visible patina and white corrosion buildups. One of the green jewels is cracked. A minor hole/pit on the bottom (last two photos). Please review all photos carefully before making your purchase.

Here is a gorgeous art glass ashtray/catchall that is attributed to Seguso Vetri d’Arte, made in Murano Italy. It in unmarked but features thick art glass blown into a triple/trihorn shape and having “levels” of different glass colors. As you can see, the interior is a bright red, with a deeper red and then a transparent glass border. I love the vibrant red color. Looks great as is, or use it as for trinkets or as an ashtray.
