Mid-Century Danish Beech Wood and Green Fabric Dinning Chairs, 1960s, Set of 4

Simple materials but fantastic and unique design for these 4 chairs by Danish Manufacture. Truly magnificent in shape. Linear and clean design, but at the same time amazing for the combination of materials used.

The chair has a structure entirely in beech wood and is completely lacquered in black shellac. Its design is very linear, four tapered legs joined together by a central cross, accommodate a very thin seat covered with a striped green velvety fabric. The continuation of the rear legs join the backrest with a very particular design which gives the chair its true character; welcoming and with a soft line the backrest in the central part where it touches the back, and tapered in the final part where the elbows rest.

This manufacture is a flagship of Denmark in the second half of the last century; their work enhances the design of everyday objects. Wear consistent with age and use. Each item offered by the HannauRoma warehouse is checked by our team of craftsmen. For each piece, before departure, an inspection is carried out again, to ensure that it arrives in good condition.
