A stunning true pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Belle Epoque period ormolu and Sèvre sporcelain candelabras. Each seven arm candelabra is raised by a rectangular base with elegant rounded sides and recessed ormolu oval patterns. The pedestal support is centered by a striking and vibrantSèvresporcelain plaque framed within a foliate border and a tied laurel band. To each side are scrolled ormolu movements leading up to two elegant maidens in period attire embracing, and holding up the arms above. The wonderful and finely detailed scrolled arms are adorned with swaging floral garlands, large acanthus leaves, and foliate candle cups. With all original gilt.
